In 2010-2011 as I was approaching the end of m college time here in US I had to start studying for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Unfortunately, if studying in two universities at the same time wasn't enough I also had internships. So in the last couple of years I spend most of my day time on an internship (one of the most memorable was at the United Nations in their facilities management department) and most of my evenings in school. The time in between was spent commuting from one place to another on a train.

If you have ever taken any grad school exam, be it GMAT, LSAT, MCAT - you know that there is a lot to learn and the books are usually strangely oversized preventing any level of comfort when you try to open them on the train.

One thing that was always with me and that was always very easy to use was a mobile phone. And one day, riding in the train I though to myself: "If only there was something on my phone that would help me study for the LSAT". Unfortunately, for my LSAT score there was nothing. Fortunately, for my future there was nothing.

I saw the opportunity, started to learn design and development, looking for developers who can help and after a painful year of lessons and failures I founded Malyshev Educational Systems and published an application called "LSAT Triangle". It was very comprehensive. It had real practice LSAT tests that I have licensed from Law School Admission Council. It had automatic tracker that would analyze where most of your mistakes are and would help you improve those areas. It even had a proctor simulator which you can turn on to simulate a real test taking environment with proctor talking, people sneezing, pencil dropping, etc. It remained a top paid LSAT app for over a year after it was published.

That was my first success as an entrepreneur. It didn't make me the richest man on earth but it did show me that I can successfully build a product and launch a business. Something I've never knew was possible. This company and experience would soon transition into founding Messapps.
